Privacy policy

The short version

Sync My Tunes runs on your Mac. There is no account with us, no analytics, no telemetry, and no advertising. Your music data never reaches us, because there is no "us" to reach — the app talks directly to Spotify and Apple Music.

What leaves your Mac

• Sign-ins: when you connect Spotify and Apple Music, you sign in to them directly. Those sign-ins are stored on your Mac, encrypted, and are sent to no one but Spotify and Apple themselves.
• Playlist sync: the app reads the Spotify playlists you paired and writes matching tracks to your Apple Music library. Those requests go from your Mac to Spotify and Apple, never through us.
• Update checks: the app asks syncmytunes.com for a small version file every six hours. The request contains no personal data and nothing about your library.

Payments

Purchases are handled by our payment provider (a merchant of record). They process the payment and deliver your download and licence key. We never see your card details, and they share with us only what is needed to support your purchase (roughly: your email address and order reference).

Support

If you contact us, the app's "Copy diagnostics for support" tool puts technical details on your clipboard — with account tokens and secrets stripped automatically — and you choose what to send.
